OPHÉLIE

We were given a limited amount of poplar with which to design and build this project. We worked in pairs to come to a design which would span at least five feet and hold at least 60 pounds of weight while only touching the ground at two points. My group chose to make an expandable design based on the movement of a water ripple. The end result can be compacted or pulled apart whenever necessary.
